Our Journey to Bethlehem – Day 13 I Jesus Came to Bear Witness to the Truth
Jesus said: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14: 6). The outcome of our lives depends on depends on our, love and belief for the Truth and how we walk in the Truth. He is the Truth, Truth personified. He is the source of all truth, the embodiment of truth. When we love and obey Truth, then we embrace salvation, we strive to become One in Christ and we are rewarded the crown of life. “It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the Truth, telling how you continue to walk in it”. (3 John 1: 3).
Love the Truth and believe the Truth. Those who refuse to love the Truth will perish and salvation will be refused to them. (2 Thessalonians 2: 10-12). “For this reason, I was born . . . ” Christmas exists because Jesus came to bear witness to the Truth. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1: 14).
Christmas means that Jesus came to testify to that Truth. if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the Church of the Living God, the pillar and foundation of the Truth (1 Timothy 3: 15).
“Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose, I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice” (John 18: 37). Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
