Our Journey to Bethlehem – Day 3 I To Give us Eternal Life

Published by Jacob P Varghese on

Jesus came into the world, born in the flesh to give His life as a ransom, but this giving of Himself, He has given us the promise of to give us Eternal Life, in Him. There is no other way possible to enter the kingdom than through Jesus Christ (John 6:44; Acts 4:12), however it is only for those who believe in Him, put their trust in Him and live a prayerful life in Him, with Him and for Him. “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has Eternal Life, and I will raise them up at the last day (John 6: 53-54).

Now this is the greatest Christmas gift one can receive—the Gift of Eternal Life. We have the opportunity, to live forever with God! To inherit Eternal Life, we must cultivate communion with the Eternal. May we take time this Advent season to hear His voice and meditate on His power and authority, living a prayerful Sacramental life. Jesus has over life and death. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 1 Jn. 4:9. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is Eternal Life inChrist Jesus our Lord. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3: 16). Our entire earthly life has value if it is spent seeking Eternal Life.
